Radiophotoluminescence Phenomenon of CaF2 Ceramics Doped with Li

The objective of this study is to examine the impact Li-doping on radiophotoluminescent (RPL) properties CaF2. Before ionizing irradiation, Li-doped CaF2 exhibited no photoluminescence (PL) under excitation in range 250–700 nm. After displayed PL at 800 nm when excited 390 and 610 decay time constant for luminescence was determined be 20 ns, which suggests that it attributed (F2+)A centers. All showed higher intensity than non-doped did, with highest observed 0.5% also found have a minimum measurable dose 14 μGy as an RPL dosimeter, response monotonically increased 10 Gy. As radiation-induced other RPL, scintillation peak thermally stimulated (TSL) glow were mainly 300 140 °C, respectively.
